Classy. How to for Guys.

If you guys haven't found out about BlimeyCow on Youtube, you should. He has a bunch of funny and also serious videos about how to treat other people and yourself. His latest one may be my favorite and I'm sure most girls will agree with me and the video.

I know this is kind of random, but I have to make up for missing half a year of blogging.

James River Plantations and Williamsburg

I love Virginia!!! I'm sorry I haven't posted in over half a year, but I'm back! I have pictures to show you! They are of Shirley and Berkeley Plantations along the James River and also of Williamsburg.... one of the best places ever. It's a huge living history museum and for a history geek it is heaven.

February Favorites

It's February! Here where I live this means....rain! Funness. It also means it's time for February Favorites. I seem to have forgotten to do one for January so I'm doing an extra special one for February.

Say Yes to Hoboken- Say Yes To Hoboken is a fashion, food, and DIY blog I've come across in the past month. I've spent hours poring over their DIY posts.

Miss Moss- Miss Moss is a fashion, photography, travel, design, and art blog. I've found many a new favorite modern artist or designer from this site. Artists are promoted in most posts and I love everything about it.
Need Supply Co.- Need Supply Co. is a blog written by store owners of the shop called Need Supply Co. (which I will visit again) that is based in Richmond, VA. You can read about traditions, style, fashion, travel, new products, and learn more about Richmond. They love their community and will promote various places around Richmond.
Stores: Need Supply Co.- A Richmond based store located in Cary Street Shopping Center, an old line of shops which is a favorite place for Richmonders. They have amazing dresses, accessories, and bags. I am currently obsessed and can't wait to visit! If I can.
Modcloth- An online based shop. Has amazing vintage styled dressed that I really, really want. Their home decor is also amazing.
This dress- Called the Prometheus Dress from Need Supply Co. I love the ancient Greek inspiration in this.

This dress-shirt- Called the The Dying Light Dress originally from Evil Twin label and sold at Need Supply Co.

Brookside Chocolate- Brookside Chocolate has found a way to make me like chocolate and fruit. These are chocolate covered fruit bites which are basically like small gummies made of real fruit juice. My favorites are the pomegranate ones! Don't worry it's dark chocolate so it is actually not bad for your health.

Animal Farm by George OrwellTired of their servitude to man, a group of farm animals revolt and establish their own society, only to be betrayed into worse servitude by their leaders, the pigs, whose slogan becomes: “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.” Published in 1945, this powerful satire of the Russian Revolution under Stalin remains as vivid and relevant today as it was on its first publication. (preview from goodreads.)

Just One Day by Gail Forman- When sheltered American good girl Allyson "LuLu" Healey first meets laid-back Dutch actor Willem De Ruiter at an underground performance of Twelfth Night in England, there’s an undeniable spark. After just one day together, that spark bursts into a flame, or so it seems to Allyson, until the following morning, when she wakes up after a whirlwind day in Paris to discover that Willem has left. Over the next year, Allyson embarks on a journey to come to terms with the narrow confines of her life, and through Shakespeare, travel, and a quest for her almost-true-love, to break free of those confines. (preview from goodreads)

Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver- What if you only had one day to live? What would you do? Who would you kiss? And how far would you go to save your own life?

Samantha Kingston has it all: looks, popularity, the perfect boyfriend. Friday, February 12, should be just another day in her charmed life. Instead, it turns out to be her last.

The catch: Samantha still wakes up the next morning. Living the last day of her life seven times during one miraculous week, she will untangle the mystery surrounding her death--and discover the true value of everything she is in danger of losing. (preview from goodreads)
My Fair Lady (1964)- This is one of my favorite Audrey Hepburn movies! Love every single song and the humor put into each one. From IMDB: A misogynistic and snobbish phonetics professor agrees to a wager that he can take a flower girl and make her presentable in high society.

Master and Commander (2003)- This is my favorite movie ever. My obsession with all things nautical has insured that I'm am obsessed with this movie, it's cinematography, and the amazing blend of classical music and movie score. DEFINITELY 10 STARS!!! From IMDB:  During the Napoleonic Wars, a brash British captain pushes his ship and crew to their limits in pursuit of a formidable French war vessel around South America.

Ratatouille (2007)- This is my favorite of all Pixar movies. (Sorry Toy Story!) This may be because of my love for Paris, but it's mainly because of the graphics, the story, and the backgrounds. I love Remy! I always eat so much food when I eat this movie.

This song/music video-

I love Sia! She's one of my new favorite singers. This sounds slightly Parisian, maybe I'm watching too many movies about Paris...

This song-

Slightly obsessed!

Duck Dynasty- You know I love reality TV, even if it isn't reality TV... Si, SI!!!! He is so hilarious!

John Adams-

I love Colonial America and the Revolutionary War. HBO always does really well done miniseries and this is one of my favorites.

Other thing:
This notebook from Anve-

This backpack from Herschel Supply Co.-

This market bag from Apolis- I used to hate this website until I found out you could put Need Supply Co items on it.
Need Supply: Nude and Peach
All items featured from:

Hope you liked my favorite stuff of February. Sorry for the Need Supply Co. dump off.

Film Fest!

So guys, I have recently become a film freak! Whoop! I discovered that as I watched The Hobbit, Les Miserables, and the new Spider Man movie.

No, that was not the discovery, it was a slight realization, an awakening.

I really discovered it last night as I watched the last scene of The Fellowship of the Ring. I came in during the Uruk-hai fight, so I didn't watch the rest. The beauty of the cinematography was amazing. The way in which they caught the fight scenes were amazing and the death scene of Boromir was captured perfectly and of course the music!

I realize now that my whole childhood has led up to this just because of the amazing movies I've grown up with. Or maybe it's because my parents grew up in the 50's and 60's. Oh well.

But I have compiled a list of classic movies that I am to watch this year! I guess this is kind of a New Years resolution so I'll make a page for it then check them off throughout the year. Yay!
Warning: Most movies will be from the 40's, 50's, 60's, or have Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor, or Audrey Hepburn in them.
Another Warning: This'll be a long list.

2013 New Design!

As the new year rolls in, I have a new blog design! This blog design was created by the lovely ladies over at {You}topia Blog Designs also known as Nessima from over at Arda Nessimava and Shadowflower over at elvenpath. Go check them out! And I love my new design.
(Have you ever seen anything as pretty as my post signature???)

I have a problem, and his name is...

I have a most serious problem, and I'm ready to address it. It's only just now started, but it's growing by the minute and soon it will overcome me.

This problems name is: Sir Gwaine.

I'm sobbing right now. I tell you it was love at first sight. Ever since Season 3, Episode 4 of Merlin this has been a problem. Infatuation, yes, that is the name of what blights me.

It's just......I mean.......his muscles......his hair.....
Anyway... I swear it was love at first sight. He always comes to Arthur's aid. And the way he treats Merlin as a brother. Amazing. Need I say anything with his talent with bees? NO! What about his socks? Nope. You can't stop this obsession.

Well, now that the problem has been addressed, here is a pinterest and tumblr. appreciation for Gwaine.
